There are beautiful invitations out there to choose from, made from the finest papers and printed using the most elegant methods, but the majority of them have one thing undeniably in common...computer fonts. Hand lettering, aside from giving a warm, charming and elegant touch, takes customizing to a new level. Your invitation is an individual, unique piece of artwork created with you in mind...just for you.

The process of having your invitations created with hand calligraphy is very simple. You choose the stationery and I create the artwork (a high resolution computer file) for you to give the stationery company. They print my artwork on their paper. That's it! The calligraphy can be flat printed, thermographed, letterpressed or engraved. Whatever suits your fancy and/or budget. (A Bit of Ink offers flat printed invitations on high quality stationery.)
